Hey Lazyweb, I need a battery-powered (or even, I suppose, passive) mixer. As far as I see, the options seem to be:
- The Behringer UBB-1002 (and maybe the MXB-1002?, though that would definitely be used) – somewhat costly
- Nady’s MM series – which get some awful reviews online, though they do seem to have a new one with some built-in echo/delay/whatever
- any number of ART/Rolls miniature mixers, which end up being rather costly per-channel
- homebrew something – though I’m rather time-constrained right now
- eBay an old Realistic
Is there some option I missed out there? Preferably in the “under $50 for 4+ channels” category. I’m starting to like the “eBay a Realistic” option, since it plays into my weird goals anyway.
