My employer threw this rack out:
I thought, “hey, this might be reasonably similar to a Frac-Rack enclosure, and if not, I’ll find some use for it”, so I took it home, along with the seven line cards in it (if nothing else, I can use the panels for LFOs, or something). Once I got it home, I measured it, and it seems to be Frac-sized. Right height, right width, close enough to the depth of the Paia enclosure (just a hair under 7″), and the hole spacing seems close to the Blacet guide.
I think the current plan now is to put the SN-Voice and Mega Percussive Synthesizer (with its eleventy-billion knobs and jacks) into the non-standard-sized cabinet I built in November. Then, maybe once those are done, I can start filling up this enclosure with modules of some sort. Any suggestions?
