Managed to finish 3 modules this weekend – The Blacet Micro LFO, CGS Digital Noise (ok, it’s a hand-me-down from fluxmonkey(THANK YOU!!), and all I did was replace the timing cap with a switch and two options, but that modification makes it DIY-series eligible in my book…), and the MFOS Quantizer. The three of them together yield some interesting alien chiptunes. There are now three 3″ spaces left in my current enclosure, and three modules planned to go in it. Time to start thinking about expansion 😉
Made some progress on the TH Supercontroller as well. Almost finished, but then managed to injure myself making cables and decided to finish it later.
I also got a step or two closer to the effects processor described in this post. Spin’s US distributor is now selling a nearly ready-to-go FV-1 module for a reasonable price, so I picked up two. Maybe one becomes a DIY version of the TipTop Z5000 (or even the Z-DSP??)? I definitely have some ideas about CV control of the parameters and mix.
Lastly, I think I took a step towards self-sourcing a x0xb0x – I ordered a PT-10 case when I ordered Vactrols for the PS3100 resonators.
